I better not mess up the qualifiers this weekend- the number of routines and drills I've been doing feels unreal. Gotta be done, I guess, but still not terribly exciting while you're doing it. Bleh, night all.

Then you haven't reached your limit (yet). That being said I've noticed that after 25 I couldn't hold my drinks like I used to. Probably due to age and the fact that I lived in Scotland at the time... Ten pints of Guinness for a regular Friday night at the pub. Those days are gone. :shake:

Interesting, 25 is also the age after which I started to actually have hangovers. Ah, those are days past ...

Nope. I just don't puke. I've only had 1 hangover so far. I've passed out a few times, but I've never puked. I know my limit, and I go past it on occasion, which usually leads to the afore mentioned process of becoming unconscious. :p

In other news...I got new contacts today. They're nowhere near as soft as Acuvue 2 lenses; hell, I think they're semi-rigid. Apparently, they're supposed to be some of the best on the market...which also means they're 2.5 times the cost of Acuvue 2 lenses. They're the easiest contacts to put in, however, because they're so much firmer, they are the absolute *worst* to get out. :bad:

[IMG] I've been mildly hungover once, I then found out I'm allergic to aspirin :D

I have a fairly low tolerance to alcohol since my last medication change and all :( I miss the days of drinking and not noticing, damnit!

I've also dyed my hair bright red. May need to update my profile picture. It's not as bright as it could be because I don't bleach before dying but my blonde streak is VIVID

Maybe you can get Tal to update your avatar to a red-haired Deionarra. :)

If I have a bad night I'm out for about 12 hours, not good.

Mind you these are the 10+ drink nights (usually involving chugging, shots, and different drinks), other than that I'm usually good.

Whew, what a birthday bash I had last night! I went to class, then to meetings, got home at 11, and did homework! Keerrraaaazy! I am still hungover from all that Spanish work I had.

-.- I hate having a birthday on a school day.

[IMG] Just watched a very sad episode of Bones :(

Also took my last two pain meds to sleep the other night and now my mouth is KILLING me  I can't even eat or drink properly. I was getting worried because I forgot I'd taken my medication so didn't know what was causing it :o

    No bueno! :nolike:

Today is going to suck. I was supposed to only have taken a 2 hour nap around 1am this morning, but I ended up sleeping until 8am. My sleep schedule is all f***ed up now, and I'm going to need massive quantities of energy shots to keep me awake for work tonight. :bad:

At leas it is snowing today... maybe by my 6 oclock class there will be enough snow to cancel it! That would be awesome :) Then I would play video games and relax for the first time since I've gotten to school.

Watching House MD is like doing hard drugs, highly addictive. I love that show.

    FML!!!

I woke up at 8am, because I thought I had a doctor's appointment at 9:30. Turns out, it was at 8:30. :bang: I didn't know doctors’ offices were even open before 9am. :bad:

At least I didn't get charged for the missed appointment....yet.

Me too. Have you found the current season at all disappointing though? I'm trying to reserve judgement but I think they may have finally lost a step.

People keep telling me that. :(

I've only started watching it and I'm at the beginning of season three. I'm loving it so far which is a big surprise to me because although I'm a big fan of Hugh Laurie's work on Black Adder I'm not into medical shows at all (I've never been able to watch an entire episode of ER) and I just hate hospitals. Watching House MD in my case almost seems therapeutic. :)

Enjoy season 3, it's great. And look forward to 5 ... after a little dip in 4 imo, it was the high mark. :thumb:

    Sorry for being spoilerish.

[IMG] I enjoy watching House MD :) Even if I keep getting compared to Greg himself

Probably not helped by the fact I was the first one to suggest my grandad had leukeamia. One of the worst times ever to be right.

Still, it's a good show. I've got Kev semi-interested in it. He's got me interested in Supernatural, CSI/NCIS and such. We sit and compare inaccuracies, it's quite fun. We're both interested in puzzles and mystery, tactics and history, we love to know what's happening, when and why and rooting around to find the answer to whatever isn't readily apparent.

We can't really watch Time Commanders or Deadliest Warrior though. We get rage issues

Do any of you guys know anything about painting Warhammer figures? Rob's just got into it after about a 20 year break and he........sucks. Anyway, he's just bought a tank and was wondering whether to paint it and then build it or vice-versa. Any clues?

Speaking of vice-versa, does anyone remember those sweets?
