    You mean after this donation drive concludes? Sure. Just keep in mind that what we raise by the end of the year will go to her in the form of a single cheque. Anything that comes in afterwards will be delayed a few months, that is to the point where it makes sense issuing another cheque.

    Completely off topic reply; I don't know who JSBB is sadly, though I like this avatar.


    On topic, I'm very glad we could beat the $1000 mark! ^_^

    I spent most of my money on the children for Christmas, so I wish I could donate more to achieve the $1500 goal, but maybe in a few days; I work 12s fri-sun with holiday/overtime pay, if I'm not in debt after paying off the new ps3, DS, big screen TV, cellphone and multitude of clothing/jewelry that the girl-child asked for, I'll coin a few more to the cause.

    Hi 8people,

    I'm a long time lurker of the Boards and don't know you personally (or anyone else for that matter). I visit the boards daily and thought about supporting it and it's community in some way. I first thought about donating just to SP, but then I saw this thread and read the story behind it, your story. I was touched by it and this community's reaction to it.

    I'm healthy (apart from a little case of astma) and can do whatever I want to do, you don't. That's why I donated half my Christmass bonus to you.

    Have a merry christmass and I hope the Boards donations will help you in your quest for a more mobile life!
