I don't understand why people blur out their license plate numbers on pictures. It's not like it's a SSN or a bank account number. You can't do anything with it...and it's not like the thousands of people who drive behind them can't see it either. :shake:

New computer is up and running! So much faster and quieter than the older one, can play newer games and looks not too bad. Lectures be damned, it's time for a Dragon Age marathon! :D

For anyone interested in such things:
Processor: AMD X2 550 (unlocked to use all four cores; haven't OC'd yet)
    Motherboard: Asus M4A785TD-V EVO
    RAM: 4GB
    Hard Drive: 1 TB
Graphics: ATI 5850 (this beast is massive!)
    PSU: 700W
    Case: Antec 900

You got little lag? I'm rather jealous: at home we often got 3-bar connections and see that as normal- a four bar connection is wonderful. Probably due to too many Americans getting to host games. Still, it's better than Gears.

Surprised you don't like the aiming mechanics- I thought they were fine. Personal preference, I guess.

With all of that in mind, MW2 probably ain't the kind of game you'd enjoy very much. Especially considering that it is quite similar to CoD4.

...wait, you have real friends? Tell me, what's that like?

    Strangely quiet, the RBP.

*knocks over a bookshelf on a gong, which wakes up parrots, monkeys and dolphins!*

    Much better.

Well, they're imaginary, but if I believe in them hard enough, it's like they're really there with me. Kind of like a cheap Disney movie.

I probably should, but I'm at faculty over the week, and net time comes in snippets and breaks. Highly unsuited to FAI. I'd be yo-yoing around like mad.

Dragon Age is becoming worrying addictive- I need to do maths for uni, but it's having a hard time competing with the game...

I know, I almost stopped smoking because I didn't want to stop playing to go get some smokes this week end.

I bet smoking wouldn't be the only thing, there are portable showers so personal hygiene could be attended to though. :shake:

Hey, look on the bright side, you now have a Buttermilk Popsicle! :yum:
You would need a waterproof PC for that to work...

Foiled once again! I guess personal hygiene doesn't matter that much when you don't have a social life anymore. :p

Rob and I set up our aquarium tonight. Damned hard work as the kitchen is on the other side of the house to the living room so we've had to cart loads of buckets back and forth. Not long until we can put fish in it though!

We thought about that but the hose wouldn't fit on the tap. Plus, it's been outside for a year so it's minging!
