    No, they are definitely using sex to sell... but I'm not sure if the game is sexy or not. It would be quite amusing if it had all of those scantily clad women in the ads but was just a regular old MMORPG.

    DotW has worked his Satanic magic on me! I've been jinxed! Hexed! :lol:

    I had one of my drives fail on Sunday, so I bought a replacement and let the RAID array rebuild overnight. I noticed it was done rebuilding this morning and went to work.

    I get home and log in and a second drive failed! :mad: So I run to the store and buy a couple more replacements... Put one in and it's now rebuilding again.

    If another one fails in the near future I'm going to be pissed! But at least I have a spare on hand...

    My condolences BTA.

    I got my replacement drive for my failed one on Friday. Seagate is fast - it only took them a week to replace my drive. I'm not going to do anything until I (a) get Windows 7 and (b) my Intel SSD. I don't want to spend time on fiddling with my computer, only to redo it a few weeks. So far my computer works.

    Until them I'm safe, I have little user data on my new set-up, and if the other drive fails already, I have a spare ready.

    And I say: Don't wear t-shirts or nothing at all out of misplaced pride! There's toughness and there is silliness. If it is cold, it is no shame to wear a pullover, scarf, jackets, pants and shoes. Consider wearing a cap, exercising and eating fruits and drinking warm stuff as well :p

    Not that I want to squash the humour in the last posts, but I just learned my grandmother had an ACV. Half of her body's apparently paralized. She fell and broke her leg a week ago, so they think the ACV has something to do with that.

    It's not so bad because I'm not really close to my grandmother. She's 95 or 96 now so she was already more or less independant when I was growing up (and not really affectionate), so I never really had any relationship with her. I'm just sad for my mother. Not only is she her daughter, but she was actually there when it happened. :(

    Today I recieved my microphone, its an SE2200a...relatively cheap but awesome good :D I'm dead chuffed with it, its sounds great! 9 oclock lecture tomorrow though so I can't stay up and play :(

    I don't mean to sound like I'm belittling your situation...but how you used the word 'defunct' makes me laugh...when both of my mom's knees were kaput, and she got new knees; I joked with her that since her old knees were defunct, she upgraded to version 2.0.

    With all the surgeries my mom has had, I think she's Mom v5.2... :lol:

    **** on my face... we have mother****ing roaches. A big-ass one just crawled up my roommate's leg, and this wasn't no scout roach, this was king daddy "I impregnate all the lady roaches" roach. We'll put it this way - he puts the cock in cockroach.

    My room is soon going to be like at the end of Men in Black when Will Smith is fighting that big ass cockroach with a laser gun. Except we only have flip-flops for weapons. ****!

    Simple solution there Saber. Pick which neighbor you hate the most, then drill a hole in the wall at just above floor level. Shove a straw through the hole and squirt a Sugar-based liquid thru the hole. All the roaches will follow. Then cap off the hole, caulk it, whatever..... a favorite prank in college was to get a cone of whipcream, put the pointy end under the door fo your friends room and stomp on the under end. Instant Whipcream shower going on in their room. :D Tons of fun for you!

    Cone of whipping creme -- BAH! Find a box that will fit (when folded flat) under a door, fill a garbage bag with shaving creme, unfold the box, put the bag in the box and wrap the edges of the bag around the box opening. Carefully flatten the end of the box with the bag edges and place the edges under the door. Jump. It will fill the entire floor of the room. It is important the bag not stick out the other end of the box.

    For a more personal prank ... grab a few packets of ketchup (catsup, whichever is handy). Fold the packets in half and place one under each of the little knobbies of the toilet seat -- be sure the unfolded portion is facing the front of the toilet. The packets pop when someone sits down.
