    I f***ing hate living with my parents again. They have a whole bunch of fruit trees in the back yard, and they have waaaaay too much fruit inside for two people to eat in a week...so it sits on the counter and starts to go bad, and become home to dozens of fruit flies. I've got a few in my room that keep darting in front of my screen. They're so small and fast that I can only see them when they're in front of the screen...and it's driving me nuts! :bang:

    Problem is, at job #1, my boss is a friend of 20+ years, and at job #2, I'd have to take up the slack in work... so, no satisfaction either way.

    I am feeling a bit better today, I think I'll be able top get over this without antibiotics.

    Congrats Stephanina! I get colds a lot, and when it starts to clear up is one of my favorite life moments... :)

    Hey I have a question for more tech SPers. I know if you burn videos on a blank DVD, it plays on a regular DVD player. But will a burned DVD rewritable play in a DVD player?

    I have a tv series on my computer and I want to watch them in the living room instead of the computer room (chair is not that comfy anymore), but don't want to burn 20 DVDs... (I would have posted this in Techno magic forum, but it seemed too small a question for the bother...)

    Sure, I haven't heard of any DVD players that wouldn't support rewritable discs. All that I've used do.

    Most newer DVD players will support RW DVDs. If it's more than 6-7 years old you might have issues. But hey, there's nothing lost in trying, if it doesn't work, the DVD is re-writable!

    I've been dying my hair bright red for years now. These days I do so with henna, as it's far more permanent, and easier on my hair. It's messy, though; which is why my friend and I turn it into a weird party night.
    ION, I'm at work today, despite the fact that I am still recovering, because my co-worker is worse off than I am. Fun times, I tell you.... not.

    [​IMG] You can get some weird effects with henna though, and I'm prone to developing allergies (:rolleyes:) so pretty much avoid it. Most dyes have a warning about using on henna treated hair as well, don't they?

    I got a message from Rob this afternoon telling me that he'd crashed and trashed his race car. Tried to ring him and got no answer so that was me panicking! Anyway, he's ok and the damage to the car is minimal. I could have killed him for not telling me he was ok when he text me though!
