    Hey guys

    I tried to get on my website this morning and I can't!

    I've directed a few customers to it in the past couple of days and I'm worried that if nobody can get on it, I'm going to lose business. Can somebody please try and get on it and see if it's just my computer being a git? And if not, offer some thoughts on how I can get it working again?

    Problem with that is it only works when site is completely down - ie no response. When I tried to access Silvery's site it gave an error message rather than a site not found and hence the above link doesn't work. Because there is a response it says it's fine - even if the response is an error message.

    Tarrasque, well, yes, but you don't need a checker like that if you actually can access a site and see any error messages. I assume Silvery didn't ask here for others to check because she'd seen an error message but because she couldn't access the site at all. Depending on the nature of the problem, a site can be up one minute, down the next and up with an error message on the third.
