2009 should be shot, stabbed, burned, dumped into a hole (a really, really deep one), which then should be filled with molten metal.

2009 is too young to be judged, we're barely in fourth month. Give it a chance folk.

The final exams start in two week! Whaaaa? How did that happened? You will all excuse me while I go insane for the reminder of the month. I don't expect to fail any classes, but I still would like to see some good grades. Though I'm kinda late in my readings and studies. Still, being able to nail these tests would do good to my self-esteem, and well it would also reassure me that I haven't invested about 3 000 $ this last year for nothing. Well, my parents have also financially participated, about 50% of the fee. Thus good grade would also reassure them.

Also my jobs starts April 27, but I've to exams one on the 28th and the second on the 30th. I hope this won't give me a bad start there. Though, in my defence, I've told them while I was interviewed that there were a distinct possibility that my exams schedule could be in conflict with the job, at least for the first week. And they hired me knowing this fact.

    Noooooo presure, right? :o

Anyway, back to :book: and :coffee: which, at the end of the exams will make me

    hurray! /end sarcasm

For 2009 to be considered a good year, something *HUGE* would have to happen in my life. So many bad things happened in just the first 3 months, the remaining months just can't compensate...and this is just in my personal life. The only thing that’s affecting me on a larger scale is the dead economy...which has set the stage for why I hate my job.

My new cat likes to sit on me...a lot. All the time in fact.

As in he has spent half the day sitting on me. It's cute. :)

OH HELL YEAH!!! I got the flat I wanted! :hippy: :hippy: :hippy: :hippy: :hippy:

If I post during the evening, head warning -- I won't be sober.

ION, I woke up this morning to find my i560 comfortably sitting at the bottom of a bowl of punch. I dropped it on top of my fridge, and the bowl of punch was next to the fridge, on the counter. The freaking phone vibrated it's way to a watery death. I just gave it the oven treatement... I hope it works.

*EDIT* [Censored], [censored] [censored] [censored]!!!!! :flaming: :flaming: :flaming: :flaming: :flaming:

That is my opinion of 2008. 2009 is a dream compared to the end of 2008 for me.

Never lay your phone on the dash as you are driving. Had to swerve to miss a no-driving ***hole & slide, bounce, bounce . . out the window went the phone!

Ever wonder how an LG Versa VX9600 stands up to hitting asphalt at 65MPH?
    Not too good!
Blew apart like it had dynamite in it.

The people at the cell phone store got a laugh out of it but i didn't find it funny at all.
All those numbers & info to program back in.

No offense, but my wife (she's a tech for Verizon) would laugh at you too. Everyone knows that when you're in a car, you use some kind of Bluetooth device and keep your phone in your pocket.

I'm laughing because I can just imagine the phone zipping out the window and exploding on impact!

But look on the bright side, now you can get that new Versa that has a leather case built in to it! That is....*if* you wanted to stick with a similar phone.

Why would he want to? His phone has tendencies to spontaneously explode.

    LMFAO and reped!

Seriously though, that new Versa with the built in leather case and detatchable QWERTY keyboard looks pretty cool. When we were switching to Verizon, I was looking at that pone, the Samsung Omnia, and the BB Storm. All 3 looked cool.

Chalk one argument in favor of iDEN being indestructible. After the oven treatement and drying for an additional 24 hours, my i560 has risen from the dead after swimming for six hours in a bowl of punch. The speakerphone is in perfect working order, same for the earpiece and microphone.

To borrow a phrase from one half of the Acolytes -- Well I'll be damned!

Heh, compared to what you folks have done to your phones, me having shut mine in the truck door and killing the LCD seems quite boring!!
ION,it's supposed to go to near freezing here tonight. That's too cold for Florida in the spring!!

PS, there's no smiley for cold? We need a smiley for cold!

How to kill a cell phone in five easy steps (for young women):

    1) Receive brand new, expensive phone as gift from mom and dad.
    2) Place phone in handbag.
    3) Go to high school party.
    4) At party, go to restroom.
    5) In restroom, place open handbag in sink with automatic water tap while chatting with friends.

Result: Water tap activates, filling handbag with water, shorting cell phone and killing it permanently.

(My ex-colleague was *not* impressed with her daughter!:D)

    Phone deaths?
:2c: My aunt washed my cousin's phone in the machine together with his jacket, once - it was half fried and smelled like lavander.

ION, blossoming trees! I love springtime :)
