What's wrong with discussing pubic hairs? It's biology, aesthetics, engineering, medicine and psychology all combined!

    Hooray

Can't say I've ever discussed phisics before. Not even for less than an hour. Are we supposed to be so utterly inteligent that we've moved beyond the need to spell-check what we've just written? :p

While it may be an odd topic, it is good that BA is around making this sort of thing. As he said, he does keep the place entertaining. And I'm not being sarcastic here.

Perhaps he assumes we're all "Uber-Nerds". You know...the kind that are so engrossed in their nerdiness that personal hygiene isn't considered...

The reason that girls typically don't like nerds isn't the shyness, the pocket protectors, or even the taped up glasses...no, they don't like them because of the B.O. stink, the bad breath/teeth, and although patchy...the hair growing in all sorts of places. :bad: :rolling:

Also, that's "Used to be utterly intelligent" :D Don't take it so hard dude, we all get barked down for a comment sometimes ;)

As for me, I made the mistake of shaving there when I was a teenager. What followed can only be described as endless days of constant torture. The ironic thing was I actually had the stupid inclination to do it again a few years later! Having now experienced the evil that is a shorn 'private' area twice, I will never have the desire to go through that again. I *am* extremely well kept shall we say. I shave around the edges and my "love trail" so Kit calls it, and keep the rest trimmed neatly. Cleanliness is next to Godliness after all.

By golly, if THIS is what we're going to discuss at potential SP meetups, then I'm not sure if I want to attend.

I'm going to give the female perspective, here. As far as chaps go, trimming the lawn makes the might oak appear even mightier, if you catch my drift. And no lady likes to be flossing her teeth when she is giving her man a treat. Shaving, however, is plain wrong. Men are supposed to be hairy. Do you really want to look like the last turkey in the shop on Christmas Eve? Just take care of the long stragglers and you're fine.

Furthermore, shaving can result in a rash, especially given the area gets little air and is prone to chafing against one's undergarments. Even if there's no rash, regrowth is itchy, scratchy and unaesthetically pleasing.

I have tried waxing in the past and it's messy and often painful, so I use an epilator (a little gizmo that rips hairs out at the roots). It's not too pleasant either but it's better than the alternatives I've tried, and regrowth is on a par with waxing. Any strays can then be tweezed. Tweezerman sharp tweezers are the best. They also do a special pair for dealing with ingrown hairs, which are a hazard of hair removal.

Welcome Zaburra, nice place for the first post.

On topic, a jungle is never nice. To use the machete to gain any groud is no rewarding job. But a little hiding in the undergrowth.

I'm having a bit of work done today to ensure there will be no more little Brunos. One of the requirements is a rather extensive trimming. Goofy. I'm not talking about cross-eyed, spitting your tongue out goofy, but rather the kind where the Mrs walks into the room and nearly doubles over with laughter.

It's simply unnatural to for a grown man to have that 'little boy' look.

It also depends on how little your little boy is.

    LMFAO and repped! :shake:

Speaking of medical shaving, I need to get a 'fit-for-duty' physical, and I'm in the process of finding a new doctor... The one I'm thinking about is a rather attractive woman in her mid 30's. I think I'm going to do an extra short trim before going for the physical...because as Cal so eloquently put it, it makes the mighty oak appear even mightier! :D

dmc: After the injections of a local, I think the 'little boy' was even hiding. I hate needles. There are some places on the body where needles should never go.

Kit: It might make the mighty oak appear mighty. But it does looks goofy. Women will laugh and point.

But I'm back from the doctor now, trying to move as very little as possible. Something about a big bag of ice strapped to a hairless nether region that seem to kill any romance -- that and the feeling of having been kicked in the groin ... repeatedly.
