    We went to see some friends tonight. They've not long had a baby so we took a little present round. In our house, I pick the gifts for people becasue last time we went to somebodys house for dinner, I told Rob to get a gift onn the way home from work and he came back with a bag of pot pourri

    I managed to pull a real stupid at work yesterday. Did you know that robocopy can delete 195GB of files in seven minutes? I do now. Thank goodness for backups. Needless to say, I am going to proof my scripts much more carefully from here on out.

    Hmm... going to fix our friends computer tonight. Got a bit of an odd problem with it. Me and Rob built the PC for them and everything was running fine. About a week ago, it suddenly refused to go on the internet at all. An engineer came out to check the cable modem and found it was just fine.
    Rob's thinking that our first step should be to put a new ethernet card in it. However, I think it might just be that their oldest kid thinks that she's a computer wiz and has buggered the settings. Ah well, we shall see

    I don't think the word "genius" should ever be used to describe Splunge... :p

    In other news, it's *still* snowing! I'm not exactly good at driving a manual shifting vehicle...yet...but add snow in to the equation, and getting to work tonight should be interesting. :bad:
