Oh thats an easy one, a healing touch so that you could heal as many people in 24 hours as you could touch. Have to take a plane to get to 8people:).

Now what would I do with invincibility since I'm already invisible?

Any other ability? All hell would break loose.

I'd like the power to wipe minds. I'd be able to psychically emasculate convicted sex felons and make my sister forget marrying the dipstick that she did. I'd make him forget everything he knows so he'd end up in the loony bin. I'd find as many people who had pissed me off in the past and wipe their memories, too.

    I'll admit it, I'm a vindictive bugger.

What about in a plane? :p

    My top 3 are:
Flight...with wings. Superman is lame, Archangel is badass...but I'm not sure if I'd want feathers or scales.

Elemental power. Summon and control fire, water, earth, and air. Sweeeeeeet.

Invincibility/immortality. Having the ability to fly and control the 4 elements would be a lot cooler if I couldn't die. EVER :D

    Honorable mention:
The power of suggestion. You should give me $1,000,000,000...and then jump off a cliff.

Invisibility. Women’s locker room, here I come! Mix invisibility with the power of suggestion and one could have a *lot* of fun!

Telekinesis. The power of laziness. Why get up when your mind can bring everything to you?

    D-Fly: I'd go for flight, I think.
Wouldn't touch the ground at all for 24 hours.

@ DM and Aik: Agi's kind of flight :p

Invincible for one day? I'd drink myself through all single malts, Irish, Canadian and American Whiskys :holy:

As for super powers, Jedi Powers come to my mind, mind trick in particular ... you want to forget about this... or ... you didn't see me speeding ... Just think about the benefits for dating, not to mention for business. I could make people I don't like say embarrassing and stupid things, or both, or make them lose all their inhibitions (no Kit, not what you think, even though, if they are ladies ... :hmm: ) and say what they really think, or what passes as thought with them :shake:

Invisibility and elemental powers are intriguing as well. Or consider the time saving benefits of teleportation. It would certainly be entertaining to just fade away when you leave, and re-appear from nowhere.

Beyond invincible, if I were omnipotent ... being a patriot, I would retroactively correct and fix Germany's history, depriving us of the burden and Israel of the excuse of the holocaust. Among other things I would make sure Hitler became a painter specialising in Wagnerian heroines. My town would not have been devastated by WW-II, and I'd own some nice real-estate there with a good view on the river (i.e. 'schääl sick'), and I would fix a few other things I don't like. We would still have our city archive. I'd have that cool computer and rapid prototyping facility from Iron Man. And, up in the Hohes Venn, I'd distil a darn good German malt whisky.

I would make Bernie Madoff tell where he stashed his cash, and return it to the authorities for the customary 20% fee that hedge fonds managers take from their client's profits as a finders reward :D I would make the world's managers, bankers and brokers sign peculiar contracts obliging them to ethical conduct, and under which they forfeit any bonuses if they screw up - to then see them run to the courts and try to nullify them by claiming temporary insanity :D I would make Bill Krystol, Richard Perle and their ilk volunteer for the US Army to fight all those wars they lobby for. Before that, I would make them say: Hey, we were never right, why do you still listen to us anyway? Chas Freeman would chair the National Intelligence Council to shine on. Steve Rosen would be sentenced for espionage. Joe Lieberman would say that schmucks have no place in policy and retire from the Senate. John Bolton and 'Atlas Shrugs' would have a love child. I would make Bill O' Reilly unable to speak any other language than Volapük. The RNC would eventually officially buy FOX News. Michael Jackson's skin would turn black again, and he would re-grow his nose and retire to a life of seclusion and intense counselling. His sis would show her boob again on tv, and nobody on earth would give a damn.

In the meanwhile, Heidi Klum and Dieter Bohlen would retire to their private lives permanently and be never heard of again. ZDF news would actually provide information rather than opinion. Osama bin Laden would publish his last video in which he decapitates himself. My former boss would say anything that's on his mind aloud and as a result of that become a pariah. My former flatlass would eventually succumb to the urge to remind her friends daily that it is highly generous of her that they are still allowed to meet or contact me, and persons other than herself in general. She would tell her boss too. And I'd be there to witness it. All in all, it would be an cheer-and eventful day.

Nonononono. As much as I like the idea of preventing WWII who knows what the results would be if we altered time and space. :nono:

If you prevent WWII then you get Fallout.

Most of your post was hilarious, Ragusa, but this quote struck me as really, really funny. I'm lucky there's no one else around to hear me snorting at the computer screen. You would be an absolute menace, my friend, but I think a lot of people would be cheering for you.

I can't rep you for that one Ragusa (the system won't let me) ... I think you missed the part where you would make Zaphod Beeblebrox the president....

Ragusa, maybe I was reading too fast, but what about the part where Cheney would don the Darth Vader outfit in public, lube up his entire right arm with KY, and carry George Bush around like a puppet making his mouth move while Cheney spoke . . . . ?

I could have sworn you were going to mention that somewhere.

You know those guys that traffic women as sex slaves? (as seen in the movie taken)

I'd.... be pretty brutal to them (I'll spare everyone the details), and hopefully convince the rest of them that my invincibility lasts for more than one day.

I might see if I could right other wrongs, but yeah with the limited time theres not much you can do, short of eliminating one or two particularly troublesome people (like Robert Mugabe).

I might also skydive without a parachute, but from the stratosphere instead of the troposphere. Maybe with one of those gliding suits. And try to see how big a whole I can make. In fact, I'd probably want to hang around up there (the thermosphere/mezosphere actually) for a bit longer, just floating.

Hhuum Omnipotence, probably make Harper wear a duck suit and appologise nation wide to the stupid thing he did, pass a law that prohibits conservatism, stupidy, and political demagogy in Canada. I'd also make the federal government acutally implement the Kyoto treaty. I'd give each of Fox's news employee a manual about socialism. For f***'s sake the US will not become a socialist state

Then I'd go back in time and throw a kick ass party in Rome with Cicero, Virgil, Plato, Dio Cassius, and Socrates. I know, most of them didn't live in the same time, but hey time travel
