Problem with Mendos

    Hi,

    Mendos told me that will hire boat and left the house, I left house too, but can not find Mendos. I go up to the footbridge, but nothing happens.

    May be problem is that I first brought sea maps to Mendos, then went to Durlag's Tower and then return to Mendos to take voyage?

    I think you have to get the charts from the harbor master in Baldur's Gate first, before you can leave on the ship.

    The docks are due west from the house -- perhaps that's the footbridge you mentioned. But it should be wood and you walk out over the water.

    Problem is worse. Not only Mendos, but all NPC ignored me after quests are accomplished. When I killed cultists' demon dwarf in the inn continues to say me "Harry up...". In Baldug's Gate when I kill 2 assassins in Undercellar and returned to speak with thief who told me about these assassins, he said "Return when you will kill these two ...".

    What happened?

    From your description it seems you've hit the infamous "out of variables" bug that TotSC had in the initial release (I had this as well and agonised for a while because of it). The TotSC patch should fix this bug. I don't think applying the patch will retroactively fix this, unless you go back to save before the variables ran out. Alternatively you could apply the variables yourself after installing the patch, but that would be tricky because you need to know which variables are missing. If you've already got the patch, or if you have the 3-CD Original Saga, I have no idea what the problem is.

    Did the patch fix things then? I was worried it may not restore the variables if the save game has already become corrupt.

    It did not. What already was done remains bad. But I had a save file before conversation with Mendos. Now after conversation Mendos appeared near docks.
