Yeah, just use Shadowkeeper on her when you've picked her up fiddle with her levels that way.

    Cheats all the way =D

I just remember back when I first played without using any cheats except playing through the games several times. It feels more rewarding then just hacking the stats and I am extremely nostalgic for the same game experience I had back then, but I guess saving time by using shadowkeeper will be better then playing twice.

Im having trouble in the flaming fist compound, the stairs to Duke Eltan aren't working and I cant get up them.

I found my way to Duke eltan, I just had to wait for Scar to escort me there. I'm onto Chapter 7 and candlekeep now :)

I seriously cannot remember any other game other the BG1 where I have had such an epic blast trying to kill two Greater Bassilisks! - I was reloading over and over again trying all sorts of tactics - trying to save against petrification, trying to enclose one of them in an otilukes sphere, but anytime Dynaheir got close, she turned into stone. Then I looked through all of my available spells and saw under my level 1 spell book:

    Protection from Petrification...

    /banghead against desk.... =D

I sooo love the tactical and strategic difficulty in Baldurs Gate, I havn't really enjoyed any other RPG since BG1 and BG2 as much as these. I havnt played Icewind dale 1 + 2 yet, I bought them and didnt enjoy them as much, but I might try playing them later.

I just finished BG1, and saved then proceeded onto BG2. Imoen started off exactly as she previously was - a level 8 thief with no mage classes :). Now I just reload my save and complete Durlags Tower first. I found the ToB experience charts and want to dual Imoen at level 12 thief now as this still allows for 30 wizard levels, but that will probably have to be done after I get her out of spellhold, but I should be fine without her as a mage at the start of BG2.

Will she still attack Irenicus with Magic Missile after leaving the dungeon in BG2 though?

That is a good question. It is also good to know that Imoen can stay a thief as I prefer her as a straight up thief to the other limited options. I like Yoshimo and like the Bounty Hunter thief kit, but he just doesn't last beyond SoA.

About dual-classing to a specialist mage. You can do this legitly-no cheating required in BG1. When you port over from BG1 do you stay as a (first class)/specialist mage? Thus if you create a cleric/enchanter does she stay a cleric/enchanter or get switched to a cleric/mage?
