Well then, 8people, I'm not surprised the battery is kicking the bucket. Try discharging it comletely, then recharging it to see if the message goes away. If not, then the battery cells are dying. Still, even a dead battery is not a big deal if you plug the lappy in most of the time.

ION, I am quite tipsy. Didn't plan it, but beer goes so well with oysters, and after today's dental attacks, I did not want anything chewier than oysters. Yay

IIRC, Li-Ion batteries need the occasional full discharge, but the rest of the time, it's recommended to charge as soon as the "Low Battery" pops up. That holds true for cellphone batteries - I weakened three Nokia BLC-6 batteries (2125i + 6275i + a spare from the old 6015i) by constantly letting them fully discharge. I don't even reach a week standby anymore, where I'm supposed to go well over the week bar.

Oh well, aftermarket replacements are dirt cheap, so no big loss.

@ 8 - Is it hard to replace a battery in a laptop? I've never had one so I don't have a lot of experience with them. If it's too hard there must be someone you can convince that you need a new laptop. Just use puppy-eyes etc :D

@Stef - Have a beer for me too please, I could really use one right now but sadly the cupboard is bare. I could use some of those oysters too. MMMMmmm. Love oysters. I even love oyster mushrooms. Hope your teeth feel better once all the beer wears off Stefanina.

Well, I have some golden Tequila laying around. BTW, maybe you can tell me, Jose Cuervo Especial, good tequila or mexican piss? I haven't even opened the bottle and I've had it for nearly two years.

Hmmm I'll have to ask my husband DoTW, we haven't gotten much tequila around here for a while. Does it have a worm in the bottom? I've never eaten one of those worms but I hear that they have special properties. I imagine if it isn't good tequila, it shouldn't matter too much once you get past the first 2 or 3 drinks :D :D. Maybe you should try it and tell me how it is.

Nope, it doesen't have the worm... thankfully. As for trying it... well, I've decided to let it age a couple of years before doing so. Jack Daniels aged a few years tastes even better, so maybe it's gonna be the same thing with this tequila.

I'm a firm believer that nudity is an antidepressant as such I am currently unclothed.

Wow.. Someone else who is naked while posting on BoM?

And here was me thinking that I have been the only one to do that in the last 2 and a half years.

We should made a nude posters club or something :p

Nah, usually when I'm taking the time to post here, I'm on my laptop in my bed, therefore buck nekkid.

The teeth are actually recovering nicely, not even twinging at hot foods or cold drinks. Yay.

When did BoM turn into a gathering for nudists without me noticing?

I'm still around 310 lbs. Do you really want the mental image of me joining the nude posting group?
