    - People who walk/sit/stand/etc. with their damn mouths hanging open.
    - People who eat loudly, and with their mouth open.
    - People who chew gum with their mouth open
....ok, maybe I have a bit of an oral fixation here....
-People with low self-esteem who go out of their way to make themselves noticed by acting stupid or just talking (or writing) too much nonsense.
-People who ask you to listen but can't open their own frikin ears to do the same.
-Mosquitoes in the dark when you are trying to sleep
-People who crowd around the front of the bus when there is lots of space in the middle and back so that the new people getting on the bus all get squished up like sardines.
    - People who don't wear deoderant
    - People who wear too much perfume or cologne - especially if its the poor quality stuff
    - People who talk loudly on cell phones in public places (although I have to admit occasionally you do hear rather interesting personal info about others)

I can think of a lot of other stuff but I think all leave it at that.

Also someone who takes, takes, takes without giving, seemingly oblivious they are doing it. I.e. a friend who never has any money when you go clubbing so you all end up buying his drinks all night, only for the same to happen next week as well. Which is what I meant. But thanks for explaining to the American sadists!

@ Kitrax - I love you more each day .

    Here's a few of my pet-peeves:

    1) Sugardaddies and sugardaddie aesthetics. Yeah, parade examples Hefner and Trump. It's not that they're atrociosly wealthy that bugs me, I'm not jealous. It's their atrociously bad taste and that they get to show it without any restraint because they have money.

    2) Hobo's and hobo aesthetics. Well, they're all about no money, a bad taste and a bad smell on top of that. I don't like to eat hobos at all. But what can you do when you're only slightly more well off than they are? It's a dog eat dog world.

    3) Junkie-hippies. They have all the answers to everything. And both groups mainly seem to consist of crazies who have the answer to all and any problems. "It's the oppressive system! If everyone would be a dope-fiend like I am, we'd all live in perfect harmony. I don't have a problem, everyone just treats me that way, it's them who're in the wrong! Society sucks and I trust no-one but my dealer and my high."

    ...maybe more ranting later...

    1) People who think that needs gives them rights. (e.g., thieves, insurance-loafers.) In the Netherlands we have a group of people who steal houses and other forms of real estate, they're actually protected by law.
    2) Antiglobalists, you're trying to protect the people in Africa and South America by destroying their economy?
    3) Commies. You think that people should be subject to the collective? fu!
    4) Socialists, because they look too much like commies.
    5) Anarchists, because they think that might makes right. The joke is on them btw, every time the anarchists managed to overthrow a government, they were the first victim of the next installment. Think Napolean and Lenin.
    6) Political Correctness. No, not every culture is equal, not every religion is equal, not every human is equal. However, every man should have the same rights and duties.
    7) Dogs :p
    8) People who download music, games and movies and come up with faulty rhetoric as an excuse. Indeed, its not like stealing cars, but you still don't have right to other peoples products!

Prejudices. Classifying things wrongfully. In everything, but definitely in my line of work. It's just mirroring of how people perceive the world. For instance: To us westerners Confusius' works may be listed under 'foreign religions' but the idiocy of this is apparent when The Republic by Plato is listed under 'political science' and it has more religious mysticism than in the Analects of Confucius which is all about politics and social ethics! But it's religion just because Confucius was chinese! All that comes from asia is, ooo, mysticism and as such it can be discriminated as mystical babbling religious nonsene is what many, far too many people honestly seem to think! :bang:

Yah me too HB - I still picture you with a 3 year old kid who likes Thomas the Train but I know that can't be possible because my smallest son is already 3.

Don't get me started on how much I'm PO'd about Thomas the Train and similar garbage they've been melting kiddies brains with. I have to face massive amounts of children's entertainment on a weekly basis. Sometimes it's almost too much.

My girls liked Thomas when they were toddlers, but have since moved on to Scooby-Doo. I don't think their brains are "melted" though.

[IMG] I swear I posted a second lot of what annoys me... but can't see it :mommy:

I was thirteen when I joined this site in 2002 :thumb: will be twenty this October.

Pain is annoying me at the moment  my hips and spine have been stiff for days and today I've had tremendous amounts of pain in both my hips and shoulders. Have had to go back on medication which was fine for the first three hours... then I started feeling fuzzy in my head and numb in my body...the second lot I was okay for about an hour before acting completely stoned. Joy!

Hope I'm okay for tomorrow. I'm going to a gig! :sosad:

Here's something that grinds my gears:

Why is the stuff that's good for you more expensive than the crap that's bad for you?

Here is another. Telephone solicitors that call from another province or state with a non-traceable number so that I can't block them from my phone line. Then when I do answer and ask them in person to remove my number from their list they say yes and don't do it. At least we have call display and we've almost come to expect a junk phone call generally when we are eating supper so we just don't answer the phone. Its a real pain in the aspen though.

@ Gnarf - I saw a thing on the news the other day about how it is more expense to eat healthy food rather than junk. We generally eat pretty healthy but at least I have a family that gives us lots of garden veggies in the summer.

@ Iku-Turso - What the heck is your problem with Thomas? Barnie is mind-garbage but Thomas actually has a lot to teach the little ones. Too bad Ringo Star isn't the narrator anymore.

@Chandos: Scabby-doo-doo? They'll be brain-dead zombies before you know it!

@Dragonfly: Nothing particular against Thomas. Maybe because I'm just not that familiar with it is what makes it fall into the same pool of children's entertainment I usually loathe, which contains most of children's entertainment in general...You see, I think I've forgotten what it was like being a kid and now the idea of innocent joy over colourful pictures, simple laughter, smiling trees and other inanimate objects makes me uneasy and irritated. I'm just being bitter and getting older by the minute. I'll be a real Ebenezer someday...

Uh, never thought of that, but you're right Confucianism is more of a political theory that trigger the earliest bureaucracy (in China at least), and certainly not a "religion", at least not in the way we westerner think of it.

Hhmmm, I wonder who would win an election in hypothetical country A Confucius or Plato?

When I'm walking along, just minding my own business and someone has get in my face with a stupid question. I mean really why target me? I'm just content to toodle along alone and in quiet and out of the blue -- BAM -- IN YOUR FACE -- with some stupid question.

"Do you know what time it is?"

Well, Mr. Rude, why don't you buy a watch? Perhaps look at the damn clock on the wall that 50 feet away.

Do you know what time it is? Right. As if that's what the persons real agenda is. After all does anybody really know what time it is? Does anyone really care (about time)? If so I can't imagine why....

Oh yes, I also get annoyed at people who quote songs. :D

    A few more for me:

    1. People who yell in to their phones or bluetooth headsets...yeah...those things are designed to pick up your voice at normal volumes...
    2. Sudden and painful itches...on the bottom of the foot while wearing shoes. :bad:
    3. Spiders, flies, ants, and most insects
    4. People who assume I'm Mormon or worse yet - a Polygamist, just because I live in Utah. :flaming:
    4. Old people who fart in public and don't care...yeah, it's funny at first, but the humor soon fades when you realize the old geezer really stinks. :bad: :rolling:
