@Loreseeker, thank you; we are 4 inches short of rain so far this year but 16 inches since January of last year, so this is one of the reasons we are at such a high fire risk. The one causing traffic problems yesterday was due to a camper that caught fire while traveling down the interstate on a wooded section of the highway, and the fire spread to the woods next to the road.

They are repaving the parking lot where I work. It needs it but ewww the smell, not to mention - no place to park, duh. Oh, well, a bit of involuntary exercise today.

On the board two days in a row - hmm, I'm sure I am being terribly unproductive.

    Heh.

 What did I do? :p

ION, for an undetermined period of time (0-10 days) starting tomorrow, I'll have an undefined internet access (ranging from none to 24/7), for reasons of variable exam state (will do, won't do, fail, pass, postponed... ) and will be residing on one or more locations in a 150 km area... All variables are at this point perfectly alterable, by choices, but the future is, mildly put, a blur (more than usual). This might affect my life out of RL.

Is having no plan, a plan?

    Grr...

Got in to work tonight, and read my email. Turns out that even though my interview went *really* well, I didn't get the job. :bang: I'm trying not to be bitter about it though...

The guy who's position they were filling only had the job for <6 months before he moved up in the company, so hopefully this new guy will either go crazy and quit, or....go crazy and get fired....

I'm not bitter at all. :p

In oither news...my buddy just got out of jail. The weird thing is, I didn't even know he was in jail until after he was out. Hell, I don't even know what the dork did... :bad: Some friend I am, huh? :rolling:

    That's how it usually goes!

As for me, just wrote two essays on good old Odysseus, that lovely Bard 4/Ranger x 16/20/16/17/14/16 powergaming munchkin. All good.

Scraping half a million gold for a damn Duplicator is excruciatingly long and painful. It also is NOT a good part of a SoTN speed run. The Richter run is halfway through the game. I actually found some cheese to whip Galamoth's arse relatively easily.

Unless you're a Japanese mecha that uses wisdom as it's energy source to kill stuff with heat-seekers, nothing.

Actually, most heat-seeking missiles never did anything. The moment the do something, they cease being heat-seeking missiles and become super-heated missile dust instead. ;)

That depends. If you simply don't have a plan, then you haven't planned and so don't have a plan at all. On the other hand, if you decided not to have a plan, then you must have planned to have no plan and, as such, you must have a plan after all! :p

I bet he wanted to min/max, but couldn't figure out what to min in and so cheated to max everything.

You didn't mention his classes in the essays did you?

Where's the fun in it if he didn't? :p

To plan to not have a plan is a plan despite the not planing that the plan plans.
    Yay! :D
