    I love badminton. What a great game. We used to have a net set up in our back yard and a few sets of really good rackets. Good way to spend the summer hours when you aren't out doing other stuff.

    I busted my bandwidth, and still have five days left before a new month starts. I was going totally bananas at keeping browsing at a minimum... then my housemate reminded me our internet contract includes 10 hours of 56K access per month... it's slow as hell, but it's an Internet connection nontheless.

    Man, I so love that chick when she reminds me of perks I forgot.

    I heard badminton was seen as a light 'summer sport' across the Atlantic, but even so, I hoped for better (apologies if you actually aren't across the Atlantic). You can't play proper badminton outdoors (unless you have no wind at all where you are)!

    I'm "across the Atlantic" and I also think proper badminton should be indoor - the wind can really get in the way, I've to agree with you in this one.

    When I was a few years younger than you I took most of my fingertip off in a paper cutter accident at school. Bloody, messy, I passed out, they sewed it back on, I was written out of gym for two months while it healed.

    JE, re your injury, that paper cutter injury left the fingertip very sensitive for many months, but that doesn't mean yours doesn't need further attention.

    I am comforted that so many others notice the weather, watch the weather forecast, and sympathize with my fixations.

    It is sunny and cooler today after a warm and stormy Friday. I am at work for the next-to-last day before a whole week's vacation!!! Yay!

    Probably will get in another post before I head out on Monday morning but if I don't, babble incessantly while I'm gone. I expect to see a whole new thread when I get back, people! ;)

    You won't believe it - 1GB. This is what I use in a month simply browsing. I admit I splurged a little this month when I downloaded Damn Small Linux for my brother - Linux on an USB flash drive, works for him.

    *sigh* Tis a sad day when downloading a 100MB file is considering splurging.

    And rev, paper cutter accident? That must haven't felt good.

    Still, the slashed finger hurts FAR less than the time I was welding and burned my crotch because of a big ball of flux who fell and burned straight through my pants. *shivers* Worst. Pain. Ever.

    I estimate sometime in June before I can get those CZW tournaments downloaded. Most of the time I can only get about 26.4 kbps since something screwed up with Bell Canada's switch box a couple months ago...

    The lack of seeds doesen't help either. Hell, I made a copy of the TOD1 and mailed it to my brother - it turned out quicker than actually downloading it. Almost makes me want to burn another copy and mail it out to ya, Gnarf - would save a lot of time.

    hello,all. i get to post again. i'm looking for a better job, with less overtime, but i won't leave this one til i find another. i sure don't want to be outside during summer in this god-cursed florida. i might have a lead next week,tho. i hope everyone stays well. it might be another week til i can post again
