    I had to sleep at a friend last night because of the [COMIC BOOK GUY]Worst. Blizzard. Ever[/COMIC BOOK GUY] We were in the basement, we didn't see through the windows there was so much snow! We had 35cm! (That's about 14 inches). With wind in the 80-100 km/h! Well, I'm home now, freezing to death, but still I have got a coffee.

    Coffee's on me to everyone who's tired of winter it's Brazilian and ground today.

    Edit: Did I mentioned my sister was pregnant? I'm gonna be an uncle! The joy of parenthood without the responsibilities, yay! Ok maybe not, but meh. I do want children one day, I just lack essential assets. Mainly a girlfriend, a job, a house, and money. :p

    Iku-Turso is a big Cthulhu-like sea monster from Kalevala.
    Iku(/iki/ikuinen)= Eternal, means 'old' in this context, turso(/tursas)=octopus.

    In the newfound tradition of my usual rants, here's another instalment of Things that gets on my nerves with Flix (tm)

    My best friend's mother has been hospitalised. The last time I heard from him was this afternoon when he cancelled tonight's plan. I'll spare the details for privacy's sake, however I do feel quite concerned about his wellbeing. I haven't been able to communicate with him since, and it does get to my nerves. I feel powerless, I want to give help but I just can't. This is quite frustrating!

    Just transferred another 4-digit sum to a member of my family last night, because she's having problems with cash flow now.

    I've just started really working for about half a year now, and all my savings plans have gone down the drain.. not to mention that dreadful study loan which I still have to pay off.

    Does money ever not become a problem? Sigh..

    Flix: You won't be able to contact him either, as they don't allow Cell phones in hospitals. If you want to talk to him, you'd have to catch him at the hospital...

    Meanwhile, I spent about 6 hours at the funeral home today through 2 visitation sessions, and will be a pall bearer tomorrow for my Grandmother. All 6 of us are her grandsons...

    Unfortunately, no. The concert was inside of what's normally an Ice Hockey arena. Tickets to get on to the floor always sell out first. We tried to get down to the floor, but the two security guards at the entrance to the floor checked our tickets and wouldn't let us down. :bad:

    In other news, DST sucks. That is all. :rolling:

    Well you know, it used to be just a slap on the hand for them, but those illegal commands completely ignored such reprimands so more drastic measures had to be taken.

    The lack of news concerning my friend is driving me insaner, err insaner.
