    i'll have a job again on monday night. i passed the physical,and just have to wait for the results of the drug test to come back. i haven't done drugs in 25 years, so i know there will be no problem there. i'll be running machines to make parts for bridges. it will be fun. the job is in palatka, so i won't be driving to the murder capital of florida any more ( jacksonville).

    I looked in the fridge, found we had a pack of bacon that expires today. Nobody else around, so I decided I had to eat it. All 10 rashers of it. In ONE sandwich.

    Cap'n, yes, indeed, had I found such a thing in my fridge, I, too, would have eaten it all.

    Qtips should be banned because they hurt my friends' feelings when I poke them like that. :rolling:

    This is my day off. I am surveying the wreckage of my living room and facing reality here: I own too many books. Some of them will have to go. Two thirds of them in the room have to leave the room, one way or another.

    My friends' voices disagree, but this time I'm right, I'm afraid.
