    Just out of curiosity, I decided to post the most inane topic of the year... asking people their shoe size. At http://about.nordstrom.com/help/find-your-fit/find-your-fit.asp you can find the correlations between the US and Europen and other shoe sizes, ;)

    My shoe size is 43 in the European system and as such, it's 11 in the US system.

    It's a bloody nuisance trying to find anything that looks good in that size, especially here in the North... *sigh*...

    My bestfriend has 40. Dad has 46. I have 39. Mom has 36. But I don't care about shoes. I have my red sneakers and my skiing boots. That's all I need. Sneakers, when it's over 0 and boots, when its below zero. And at same time, my mom has 15 pairs of different shoes. WEIRD. Even weirder than the Orli boom.

    Just the regular 43.

    Btw: Did you know your feet are about as large as your ulna (the bone in your lower arm at the side of your lil finger)?

    UK (me) - 10.5 =
    US 11,
    Europe = 45.

    Half sizes are stupidly hard to find in britian and i normally have to settle for 11's and put some padding at the back.

    I'm a 9.5, but I've worn up to 11's in boots. Around a 43.

    It's nearly disturbing to see how many different measurement scales there are. Mexico and Spain have their own. There's a European and an Other-European scale.

    And that reminds me. The American charts measure from the heel of your foot, up to the tip of your big toe. What in the world is it the Europeans are measuring?

    Total circumference? In centimeteres?

    If it is circumference, then I'd have to agree that is the better measurement method. Especially with it being in centimeteres.

    Precision footwear.
