    I can't believe it, it actually happened. Xan was HAPPY! And all it took was killing Eldoth. Amazing, no? Just had to share my glorious moment of Xanness.

    Well, I opened up Xan's creature file in DLTCEP, and he does indeed declare his joy at the death of Eldoth.

    Perhaps he is secretly in love with Skie... although the couple of times I have played with Eldoth I also was happy when he was made into little chunks.

    Heh, as Xan Romance writer for BG1 NPC mod, I can safely say that there're other things to make him happy. :)

    The romance is not yet released, but soon, CHARNAME will get her chance to make him a little happier - or much more miserable.

    Okay and now for the (not so gory) details. On Eldoth's death Xan says:

    "I would grieve for Eldoth, if it were not for the sense of joy I now feel!"

    ;)
