I got a D-Link WBR-2310 which happens to support wireless. I'm supposed to move in a different flat, and unfortunately, I'd have to set up the modem in the living room... and my own room happens to be on the complete opposite end of the place. Running an Ethernet cable from the living room to my own room seems absolutely ridiculous, so it looks like I'll have to turn to wireless.

Thing is, while I did take a computing class, wireless networking is something we did *not* touch *at all*, so basically, this is venturing into unknown territory.

I haven't bought my wireless Ethernet card yet, so feel free to pitch in suggestions... I have to make a trip to the computer store anyway, since I badly need some new RAM and some new thermal paste wouldn't be a luxury either.

You WiFi card and router should come with their own installation CDs. My Linksys card did everything for me. I assume D-Link will do the same. :thumb:

I'm assuming your using some OS other than Windows, so I can't realy walk you through the steps...
