Windows Live Messenger Problem

    Remove all ads!
    It doesn't load! The icon appears in the tray although the program never comes up :( If I exit it (from the tray) it will close as if it had been active (the window minimizes and exits). It's like the windows is invisible :(

    This is the first time this has ever happened before. I just removed Antispyware XP 2009, so is it possible that it could have corrupted some MSN files? Also, I just installed Threatfire. Any help would be appreciated :)

    I suppose you could try reinstalling Messenger to see if that helps.

    I don't use it so I can't be of any other assistance.

    I was reading about many people who have had the same problem. Apparently re-installing doesn't do anything. The only way to make it work again, is to open it when your modem is switched off. I tried, yet it still fails to work :(

    Ok, so i Un-installed ThreatFire, and straight away messenger opened! TF said messenger was fine, and there were no problems regarding it :confused: Does anyone know why this happened? (Looking Kit's way :p)
