Heres the first part of something I wrote today. I haven't had time to check it very thoroughly. So any mistakes please point out. Oh and if anyone would like to guess what's on the note please do so. I have decided but I'm not saying yet, and I'd like to here what people think is written on this note. It is meant to be written from my point of view, though this is fiction. I suppose kind of noiresque, but not much.

[NOTE: Edited away due to my intent to submit a rewrite to various magazines (which almost unwaveringly wish for pieces to be unavailable elsewhere). If anyone wishes to read/re-read this piece then email/pm me and I will gladly send it.]

Any change from the fantasy Genre was a relief. And since it includes intoxication I am all excited. What's with the note. It makes me curious. And the whole place just scares me. Is he a druglord, is he an AA. I'll wait to see.

On a side*note* (cheap pun intended :1eye: ) I found it really enjoyable to read and live into. Mostly because you get the scene described easily, without using fifteen god darn adjectives in row each time you meet a noun, as some do. When I scrolled up, I was surprised I had read this much already. Good work.

And it reminds me of what absinth could do to you. :xx:

As I was reading it I was thinking, 'Arthur Dent!'

Make it funny if you write more, unless there is more to the plot than getting wasted ;)

An intriguing start. I'm curious to see how he got there, and where he's going!

Ditto on everything that Nobleman said - I really like this (especially that it is not another tired attempt to wear out the fantasy genre).

Anyway, He is keeping us in the dark with the story. Or is it a story? Perhaps it is supposed to end this way. A new era of Short stories also known as Mug Stories. When the mug is empty the story is over. Pour that man some more. :)

Hey hey. Don't rush. Better to take your time than to get something out you really don't like. THat is how I felt with the last post in the Boosville charade. lol

Good luck with the exam. Hopefully you'll end like your character in the story. Drunk and cheering :D

Very good story, quite well written. I think it's the best thing I've read all week.

Do keep more bits coming, but remember to drop in a few answers to all the questions you've posed every now and again. So far it's all aroma but no dinner, y'know what I mean?

Nevertheless, the aroma is very tempting!
