Just in case that may be lost on some people, it means what drink do you like (alcoholic, of course). I don't condone under age drinking though, so don't accuse me of that.

Mine would have to be Guiness. Best stout in the world.

[IMG] I like sherry. My Grandparents give me a glass (or two) when I go round sometimes.

I don't drink much ( :good: ) and will always drink water afterwards.

Guiness tastes ok I guess. But the best alcoholic drink I know of is spaights (sigh, I can't spell). It's a kiwi beer (no, not made from kiwis). Hehehe, the adverts for it are funny, but that's off topic, isn't it.

I happne to like tequila. :D I can even drink a bit of it without training whjeels :D

My favourite mixed drink if not counting my special, Rajakatse, is tequila sunrise.

If we DO count Rajakatse, however, it takes the cake. Tequila, Koskenkorva, Mountain Dew, Fruitmilk, orange juice and battery :D Drank from a bowl :D

    Vodka, neat.

    Usually in conjunction with coffee.

But if you actually want me to use the criteria of taste and smell then probably advocaat, red wine... well, I drink white too and even like it, but I prefer red.

In winter I drink the following potion of my own design:

Noname (something with elves, I don't remember)

Martini, orange juice, cinnamon (one or two sticks), nutmeg, cardamon, honey. Sometimes I pour Martini in the glass, put an orange twist and the herbs in there and wait an hour before adding orange juice and honey.

Another of my own favourite designs is called:

    Virgin

You take a highball glass and start with Martini on ice. If you wish, you may add something stronger, but not in excess for booze time is yet to come. Then you add orange juice, but not much. Now you pour peach juice and pineaple juice. No stirring! Finally a few drops of grenadine syrup. And don't ask me why this name ;)

Kölsch (our outstanding local brew), Bockbier, Altbier, Pils for the beers (in this order), followed by scotch.

For everyday life it's coffee and tea, with preferences changing with seasons and situations.

    @chev: "Why this name?" :p

My favourite poison is surely Baileys, but I also like very much strong lager beers (around 7 degrees) and Guinness.
Sometimes I also enjoy some other "over 20" drinks (like Vodka), expecially mixed.
My mix of the moment is: 40% of rum (possibly Havana club), 30% Cointreau and 30% orange juice.

I developed a taste for microbrewed beers while living in Oregon. Mactarnahan's Scottish Ale and Black Butte Porter were my favorites - I wish I could get them on this side of the country!

With most food I prefer wine, usually a good Shiraz.

If I'm feeling elegant, it's a martini or some variant thereof. When I'm feeling silly there's nothing like fruity umbrella drinks, like margaritas, or something sweet and creamy, like a Russian Quaalude (equal parts of Bailey's, Kahlua, and vodka). And when I'm mellow, Grand Marnier, s'il vous plait!

White zin, Beringer preferrably, with sprite in it. My mom's favorite drink, if you think wine is a drink, so I take sips when i go over there. Also sips of Cosmopolitans and I once had an Irish Car Bomb, :nono: never try those...

Depends of course on the food (or lack thereof), the mood, the time of the year, the weather, the company, the time of the day, the country, how much time I have on my hands....

    Anyway,
    Grappa or Vodka (straight)
    Belgian beers of course :)
Wine (typically red with meat, white with fish, although I know of a really good red wine to go with a really good fish)
Cognac, but only when I'm in a jacuzzi at 3AM, watching the full moon, and smoking some expensive cigar with old friends.
Mandarine Napoléon, with all kinds of desserts.
    Champagne (Asti if I'm broke)
    My uncle's punch (he's Haïtian)
    Bourbon. (with no ice!!!)
    and so many more...

My favorite is a mix called Virtanen. Consists of Koskenkorva and Battery. Tastes great and gets you drunk in no time. :D

Other than that, any beer except Lapin Kulta.

I hardly ever drink, but when I do it's usually a nice ale.. guinness can be a bit too much sometimes (someone compared it to trying to drink a loaf of bread, and I kind of agree), I prefer kilkenny.
