I've been out of the scene for awhile. The last video card I bought was a Riva TNT 2 (16 meg card). It's been an excellent card over the last three/four years, but I feel it's time to get a new one. I don't want to spend more than $150. Currently, I'm looking at the Hercules Prophet (64 meg) and also the Geforce 2 mx. I hear the "mx" series is a bit watered down version of the actual big cheese expensive Geforce 2. I dunno what do you guys think? What should buy to prepare myself for NWN as well as the newer first person shooters? (tv-in and out isn't important to me, but if it's only 20 to 40 bucks more I might consider it)

for so little money all you could afford is a card in the monster line, or a viper v770 32meg.

I thought I saw the Hercules Prophet 64mb cards for 130 and the watered down Geforce 2 shortly behind it. Either of those a good idea?
