What sports do we play?

    I think there was a thread like this a few years back, but I'm sure our answers have changed (I know mine have, as I no longer play basketball - too brutal for my aged body).

    For now, I play tennis regularly (4-5 hours each day of the weekend).

    I also play softball once a week.

    I work out on an elliptical and stationary bike a couple of other days and lift weights for a couple of days each week as well.

    I work out just about every day, although I do not play in any organized sports currently. I'm sure that will change as Jack gets older, and I'll start to play with him whatever sports he gets into. (Actually - is competitive toddler chasing a sport? - if so I do that every day.)

    We went minigolfing yesterday - Jack insisted on trying out the driving range, so we got him a little driver - not easy when you need a left-handed one - and we split a bucket of ball. I used to golf regularly, and, much to my surprise my drives were almost exactly what I remember them to be, even though I was using old, beatup clubs. That is to say, my game still largely sucks. I never had a problem hitting relatively straight - at least straight enough to stay on the fairway, but my drives never go beyond about 220 yards.

    I run about 50km a week. I occasionally play soccer or cricket. I play about one game of golf a year.

    I work out three or four times a week all year long. In winter basketball once a week, in the summer it's just random streetball every now and then. Last month I started running again more regularly. If the weather is nice, I'll sometimes ride a bike to work.

    I played football from my fifth till 16th. After that, I swam a year or two. Haven't been really active in sports after that.
