    HOW is "Heart of Winter"; an expension to IWD1.
    If you meant HoF, which is mentioned frequently in forums, it is "Heart of Fury"; a mode to IWD2 where monsters are very powerful. Although, I must admit I never played HoF for myself. It is just what the people say.

    wwwoooooooppsss, I meant Heart of Fury... doh!

    Anyway you say it's with monster more powerfull? sound nice, but is the story the same? since I'm a Roleplay fan only a more powerfull version of a goblin isn't worth replaying the game...

    In HoF mode the monsters are more powerful and there is a lot more weapons, you can only get that in HoF mode..

    Hmmmmm.

    As far as I remember, you get more powerful (Thac0) weapons earlier in HoF mode, but not really any "unique" items that are specific to HoF.

    Now, IwD2 you do. HoF is specific in that one. But IwD1, I do not believe so.

    Or at least, that's my experience. HoF in Icewind Dale 1 just cranks up your experience faster.
