[IMG] I've just gotten the game. I'm patched up to official patch 2, and have the CO8 mod and front end installed. I'm playing the first time not using the CO8 mods and have just finished clearing the moathouse. I ran into a funny glitch after looting bodies and I am wondering if I have encountered the infamous looting bug. Could someone describe what the looting bug is?
    TIA

    What is the funny glitch?

The looting bug makes it impossible to select (and thus loot) dead bodies. It was introduced back when SP2 and Direct X 9 arrived for XP, so if you have XP with DX9 and SP2 then you'll almost certainly get the looting bug. However it is not something that should just come on casually mid-game or anything like that. Normally, you either have it or you don't.

Atari's 3rd patch fixes the looting bug, so you could try that for your vanilla campaign. Just be aware that the 3rd patch seems to bring with it an array of other problems, and sometimes makes it so that players can't even launch the game. :(

The standard workarounds, absent the 3rd Atari patch or the Co8 mod, are to enter combat mode (press 'c') to loot, or to wait for dead bodies to decay. When it's just the loot lying on the ground, it becomes selectable again.

    Good luck.

Well then what I experienced isn't the looting bug!.
I had something very strange happen after looting bodies in the moathouse. After looting them my characters would start bowing and standing and waving their weapons around like jungle natives doing a tribal dance and I could not use stairways or secret doors. It was funny to watch but I was essentially stuck in the moathouse. This only happened if I looted the bodies, if I left and let the bodies disappear I could pick up the loot and go on my merry way. Anybody else experience this?
