I just beat the lich in the Drow city and took the ward stone and beat up on the Jat'elle House (excuse the spelling). I left the house and then tried the highest entrance (I went in the middle one first) but was told that I could not step through due to the wards (instant death and all that). I then tried to go back in the door I just came out and got the same message. Does the ward stone only work once or did I drop it somehow? What is behind the second door?

I tried once going into the second floor first, but I got the same message even though I tried when I had the stone and when I had the rope. I don't think you're supposed to be able to get in there.

[IMG] If memory serves me right, the wardstones could be only used once and then dispeared respectively.

It's strange... after killing the lich and getting those gems for guys who wanted them I just entered the middle door and got bunch of neat stuff, scrolls and jewels, as I can remember...

[IMG] Arwen I think you are referring to Dierex's tower (the lich's tower) and they are talking about the midlle and top floors of House J (Let's leave it at 'J' because I can't do justice spelling it off the top of my head ;)) which you use the wardstone you got Dierex's tower to get into. Now I wondered the same thing and I remember doing it one way reloading and doing the other (top floor first). IIRC it's the same thing either way, there is nothing new. You just choose one or the other, both lead to same place.

Big B, you might be right... I'm not 100% sure now. it's been a while since I was in a drow city, but I'm getting close now - and will try to remember this when I'm there just to check out. So in a couple of days I will be back with a full report :)
