You can target up to 6 enemies with one casting of the wand. It has 6 bolts to expend, each click counts one target. 6,5,4,3,2,1

Can you use all 6 on the same enemy? I thought it was the number of charges that you wanted to expend in that single bolt, although they could just stack..

The Wand of lightning is actually more like a wand of chain lightning.
Feel free to use all six lightning bolts on a single victim. 1 charge=6lightning bolts

[IMG] Oh, I never tried to use the wand on several enemies at the same time, a nice idea, I just spent the six bolts on one enemy ... that might explain the *good* effect I had using them (except reflection).

    However, thanks for the explanation.

You know... I actually thought that something was wrong with that wand or some bug not fixed... coz i thought after u have clicked something to attack.. the attack button would disappear and since it didnt.. i thought it might use up my whole wand.. didnt want that to happen so I never really used the wand...

this is interesting.. they should include this in the manual... very deceiving

Actually I use them most in confined rooms. Then protects my mage with Portection from lightning. And spread out those lightnings as if I was watering a garden.
Don't feel sad Lord Praetor Munir. In the beginning I thought it was a bug too. But then I started experimenting with that stupid spell-Icon that wouldn't dissapear :p Sometimes I don't get all 6 bolts. Beats me? Perhaps the wands needs to rest a few rounds. HeHe :D

Check this link out It tells What the best part of the wand is. http://www.sorcerers.net/ubb/Forum2/HTML/001621.html

Another little tactic (a little evil though) is:
If There isn't enouch targets I summon some poor kobolds/Dog/gnolls and target them. Bolts all over.
