    Basically, every hit on an enemy heals your character. Think Sword of Chaos or Adjatha the Drinker from BG2. I'm not sure if the amount you get healed is a fixed number or a percentage of the damage you do, though.

    I believe the "+" number indicates the max number of points you gain, so Vampiric Regeneration +3 means you could gain up to 3 points of the damage you caused to your enemy.

    Sicky ... I bought it at the Green Griffon Inn (iirc). It is called "The Dagger of Chaos" ... the back story on the sword is that it used to be a dagger that allowed the user to polymorph self, now that sword polymorphs into various types of weapons.

    Now my problem ... I spent 50,000 on this cool greatsword, and then found a shield that adds +8 to my AC ... anyone know if I can get a few enlarge potions so that I could weild the greatsword one-handed???? ;)
