Unfinished Business version 15 for BG2 now available at PPG

    [​IMG] Icelus, Cliffette and myself are proud to unveil version 15 of the Unfinished Business mod for Baldur's Gate 2! For those who haven't heard of it, this WeiDU mod restores elements of BG2 that were cut by developers prior to release.

    Both PC and Mac OS X versions are available.

    The mod allows a variety of languages--if you'd like to translate the mod into your native tongue please let us know. Currently supported languages inclide English, French, Polish, German, Spanish, Czech, Russian and Chinese.

    The following is the changelog since the previous version:

    NEW ADDITIONS
    • Added a Chinese translation, thanks to Scar_kun.
      Added a few missing sound file references to various SoA strings.
      Made Wallag's corpse permanent, making his items available (thanks CamDawg and Fixpackers!)
    CHANGES
    • Updated WeiDU to 192
      Dropped the value of the Web Sack (to 1,500gp).
      Updated FW links in the ReadMe to SHS.
      Kalah's Lamp graphic replaced with a new, slightly smoother one (thanks, Sloth).
      Updated the Spanish translation (thanks Immortality and Saemon of Clan DLAN).
      Updated the Polish translation (thanks Yarpen).
      General update to Minsc's quest.
    BUGFIXES
    • Fixed a few typos which meant the player's name appeared as Charname instead of their actual name in some dialogues with Sarevok.
      Fixed a BioWare typo in Imoen's post-Spellhold biography.
      Fixed a bug related to charming Glaicas in Nalia's family Keep.
      Fixed a bug in the French translation of the Minsc component.
      Fixed a bug preventing non-ToB owners from installing the Minor Dialogue Restorations component.
    Similar to its BG2 cousin, BG1 Unfinished Business ("BG1UB") version 1 is also now available at PPG! More details can be found on the mod's homepage.

    If you have installed other mods since, I would suggest extracting the new version over the old. Then re-run Setup and reinstall the components you want to use. There are no new components.

    If UB is your most recently-installed mod, it will not make a difference (provide you uninstall the mod before deleting the files).

    Despite my previous post, I'm glad to see that modders are continuing to improve on their work and not just abandoning their initial efforts. :thumb:

    Should this be installed before any WeiDU Mods? I'm about to install a number of NPC's and tweaks, etc, from scratch, and I don't want to mess things up.

    UB is a WeiDU mod. The correct order for installation is:
    Official Patch
    Baldurdash
    non-WeiDU mods
    WeiDU mods (order of installation doesn't matter, unless otherwise specified. I am 99.9% certain UB doesn't matter when it's installed, as long as it's after non-WeiDU mods.)
