While in Imnesville (I think that's the name) you find the note in the ranger's cabin, and it also updates your map with a wooded area north of the village. Is that the Temple Ruins that appears on the map? It's the only location north of the village I'm able to go to, but I don't recall a temple being mentioned.

Yup, that would be the place that Mazzy Fentan was speaking of when she wrote that note. Good luck in your travels, it's a fun place to explore.

    Heyya DailyRich mah man, wassup?!

Really scared of shadows, huh? Well, it's really a fun place to explore. At first, the shadows are not too tough to fight and I cleared the place easily. Plus, the place contains riddles, that's what I missed in the first Baldur's Gate. Just yell "Go for the eyes Boo!!!" and kick their asses!!! ;)

I agree. Umar Hills is a lot of fun to explore and get you seriously side tracked. I didn't even think of Imoen while I was in there because they made the atmosphere too cool! Shadows only drain your strength, so don't worry about losing levels since it won't happen. They are also not as tough as they look.

Go for it DailyRich, you'll be glad you did once you suck in that fear ;) Hehe.

Well, I was kind of itching to get to the Planar Sphere, that's the main reason I bugged out, but I think I may get this quest out of the way first. I'll tell you, I had a real dilemma about picking up Vilygar, but Anomen's attitude finally pissed me off enough to drop him. But once I finish all these Act 2 quests, I'll take a final look and see who I want to bring along to Act 3.

Planar Sphere is TOUGH! Much harder than Umar Hills and the Temple Ruins that's for sure. You will have a heck of a time clearing this place out than you would if you did Umar Hills first and maybe got a few levels on other members of your party.

I just started Planar Sphere last night and already, one battle took me a few tries to get through because it waxed my ass so many times. I've heard there is worse in here, so expect to be very busy healing your wounds when you enter this place with Valygar.
