    Ello!
I really didn't know where else to go with this one... so sorry.

Me and my pals are embarking on a car trip which will last around 11 hours (yes, we will make stops for refreshments, change drivers etc.) and I got the obligation to find a game we can play while driving.

So, do you have any ideas?

I was thinking of making something like a text (conversation) based rpg, but I really don't know how to make one, or if you can find something like that pre-made on the internet. Or should I just copy the story from, lets say, baldur's gate and torture my friends with it? :) How are such games even played?

A game I already came up was Conquest of the WorldTM. I'll just print out all the countries of the world with their capitals, so my companions will try to guess them. And, when they can't take it anymore, I'll count who has the most "conquered" countries. Awesome, innit? :)

Of those suggested I've only played Shadows and The Pool, but they're decent suggestions. They have very simple dice mechanics - probably not as good for your purposes as something diceless though. Also, Shadows can be played without a GM, which might be handy.
edit: Hmm, actually, The Pool is probably a bad idea because it needs lots of dice. Shadows only needs two.

Hmm - Archipelago might be a good system. It's both GMless and diceless - things get done with cards and ritual phrases.

All the games I'm talking about are free - a lot of the ones mentioned in the top thread I linked are as well.
