    [​IMG] So I Installed this wonderful mod, it's nice with new areas.

    But I can't think of what to do with the frozen dryads, how to unfreeze them??

    You need to thaw them out, think fire ;)

    I tried fireball and flame arrows and nothing happened...

    hmm, fireball definitely worked for me, try casting it from a wand or potion of firebreath or a necklace of missiles or something.

    Why I was not able to help them in my first run too. Thought about fireballing them but was afraid not to shatter their frozen forms. Are they really useful? Gotta try next time! :)

    They give you some informations about what awaits you deeper in the dungeon and how to destroy Astral Shard.

    What about a reward? Well, some bonus XP would still make it worthwhile, I guess. :) They give XP at least, righto?

    Well yes. I don't want to make spoiler here, so I will only say, that you get few XP from this encounter, but no material reward.

    No spoilers plz, I'm at work so I can't test the advices :) Besides some help with unfreezing of course...

    *Minor spoilers re. reward, spells that work etc*
    Just loaded a game (note that I don't think its the latest ToD release) to try it all out again.

    The quest results in some minor treasure (ie a cheap gem and 25gp)as well as 6000xp.

    Spells that worked: Fireball spell (mage spell, scroll, necklace of missiles and wand)
    Spells that had no effect: Agoniser's scorcher, Flame Arrow and delayed blast fireball.
    ...and Sunfire chuncked them (probably not the best outcome)

    Guys, the mod itself is created the way that every area based fire spell should work with frozen dryads. So it means and including Fireball, too. I´ve never heard from anyone that Fireball is not working up there.
    If it isn´t, just write an exact procedure you were doing there and Razfallow, Sikret, or me will try to fix it in next version... Namely V3.

    And yes, Sunfire is an exception.
