[IMG] Has anyone gotten this to work on XP? I'd love to play this again but the game just seems to lock up the OS.

    Thanks!

    Works for me.

When and how does it crash and what is the error message (if any)?

    Maybe this helps:
When you have installed a game, rightclick on the desktop item. 3 tabs will appear. choose compabilities (sp in english?). Here you can choose a different Win-version for this game.

Maybe t has nothing to do with the problem, but I heard it could help sometimes...
    ;)

It should work on Windows XP. Extremist once gave me this patch for some problems with the game.

Mine would quit, and I hated XP for it for a while, but it turns out the motherboard was busted. It's in the shop now, being repaired for me.

The patch Lusk is referring to is Microsoft's fix on DirectDraw malfunction in XP (which causes games to crash without any error message). In case you've installed XP Service Pack 1, you don't need this patch.

In case you use ATI graphics card and you've installed Catalyst driver 2.1, 2.2. or 2.3, please install version 2.4.

In case your sound card is C-media, also do please update your driver.

Finally, if this doesn't help, please post exactly your system specs (cards and etc).
