    I have never had a chance to see more than bits and pieces of his films but, damn, I want to see more *pouts* am hoping a chance to see La Ley Del Deseo completely this Christmas...

    I haven't seen that one let me know what it's like :) There is a new collection of his movies on DVD 4 or 5 I think.

    What is strange about my top ten is I don't speak french, spanish or chinese well but I only have 4 english films in my selection.

    Many great films are very nasty. Some people don't like it when a film deals with heavy subjects and leaves them with troubled emotions, then they say it was a "bad film" because it didn't make them feel good. Surely a feelgood film can be a good film too, if it succesfully conveys those emotions, but I haven't seen many examples of that - sadly often it's just shallow and irritating featherweight bubblegum. I love it when a film really digs deep into the recesses of the mind and yanks out something that would've been better off left inside.

    What a crazy assortment of films that have been listed so far. Some of these films are very recent (e.g. Doom, Saw 2) and I would debate how a movie could be in your top 10 already after having probably only just walked out of the cinema from seeing it.

    I have to have seen a movie more than once and have it pass a test of time in my head before it can make my top 10.
