When I tried installing BG2 and ToB from the Atari 4 in 1 DVD pack earlier today, BG2 installation went fine, but the computer wouldn't recognise the ToB CD (you know how it prompts you to put the CD in the drive...well it was most definitely in the drive). I sadly run Vista on this computer and it seems there have been some issues with it, so I thought I'd ask if you guys have any clue as how to solve the problem.

I have the CD-Rom version as well from back in the day, do you think it might work?

Well i bought myself a new computer last Monday, and it has Vista Premium on it. I just installed both SoA and ToB, and all cd's are recognized by Vista. I am no Vista expert but i guess you either have some settings conflict or maybe your ToB cd is damaged some how.

Are you using a limited user account, maybe the ToB cd requires administrator rights to install? (Although i doubt it. )

Well, I solved it by reinstalling SoA and ToB with the exact same settings. In this case: run in win 2000 mode, run as an administrator and do a full install.

I had some issues with a win 2000 bug (NPCs not wanting to talk to you because they are "busy"), but the patch took care of that one.

I installed the banter pack and the flirt pack, but I'm not sure they're working. I get things like Jaheira whining about Aerie's whining ("I won't always be there to tend to your wounds, child" "I'm a cleric too you know Jaheira." Something along those lines), but IIRC those are original Bioware banters. Maybe I'm wrong.

I did get one between Minsc and Jaheira that turned up blank. All I could do was click continue.

Good to see you solved it. :)

As for the Banter and Flirt pack, i never used it so i can not say whether your hunch is correct or not.
