    As soon as I finish BGEE, evil Marceror and friends will reigning terror in Amn! Can't wait to check out the new (I believe) evil thief, Hexxat. BG2 has been needing an evil thief for a long, long time now.

    It's badly needed a warrior-thief of some kind since SoA. Jan is terrible at melee, both rangers only have hide/move silently, Haer'Dalis only has pick pockets, and the rest are dual-classed mage-thieves. Practically speaking your choices boil down to a thief who dies after Chapter 3 and Sarevok.

    I just wrapped up BGEE this morning, so I'm just going to get started today on BG2EE. That said, BGEE and BG2EE use the same engine, and so BG2EE has the benefit of receiving all of the patches Beamdog has created to date. From looking at their forums, I'm not seeing much in the way of complaints. So I believe it ought to be pretty playable.

    It also seems that Beamdog was able to take a lot more time to add content this time around, since they weren't battling with the engine like they were last time.

    It all looks promising so far from where I'm sitting.

    Oh yes, very, very playable. I created a Dragon Disciple, which is a d6 Sorcy with AC bumps, improving fire-breath and as a penalty, a tad less spells per day. He is...awesome. Party includes Korgan, Hexxat, Viccy, Edwin and Dorn. Quite the party combo I must say. Dorn's story so far is soooo much better than any other NPC pre-EE.

    The wait is over ladies and gentlemen, EE is fully functional and running smoothly. Enjoy! :D

    Tweakpack is there. Fixpack isn't - I don't know if it's necessary.

    I believe most of Fixpack in now incorporated into the game itself.

    I have to know, did they 'fix' that you can summon above the limit with a projected image? That's always been one of my favorite cheeses and I'm not sure that I'd want to play without it.

    Not really sure, but I can say that sometimes my mages seem to get an awful lot of images going. Doesn't seem any different than the original game.

    Lots of projected images? You mean they even kept the cheese where you can do chain contingency 3x projected images on helpless, then project image (making you helpless), so you have 4 projected images? They even removed that in the last G3 fixpack update.

    I'm not talking about the spell projected image. I simply used that as a way to describe the many copies that are created when casting Mirror Image. Or in other words, I was answering your direct question (to the best of my ability) rather than trying to provide random information that you never requested.

    Then I may not have been completely clear on what I meant. I wasn't talking about the spell Mirror Image, but the spell Project Image.

    What I mean is that normally you have a summon limit of one Planetar and/or 5 creatures (skeletons, animals, monsters, mordekainen's sword, that kind of thing). If you cast Project Image, it is not bound by these limitations and can easily summon as many Planetars as you have memorised (or have spell slots for as a sorcerer) and as many summons as you have spells for.

    Another thing is that in the unmodded game you can get up to 4 projected images at the same time, using the method I described in the previous post. Think being able to summon up to 24 planetars at the same time - it's pretty broken. In one of the G3 fixpack updates this was negated so you can only have a single projected image at all times.

    Henkie, no, you're right. You specified projected image, but I somehow mistakenly interpretted this as mirror image.

    I have no idea on the exploit you mention. It's not the sort of thing I would ever attempt to do in my game. Too cheesy for me. If you go ask on the beamdog forums I'm sure you'd get responses right away on this.

    I have started and stopped about three times since buying this. I am now giving it a real go. Added a few mods, nothing game changing just for ease of use, including Isra, a Cavalier of the Ruby Rose(Sunite Order). Going as lawful-good themed as I can get, obviously the thief position needs to be filled by a non-lawful character.

    Me - LG Male Human Fighter 9/Cleric X - The Sleeper/Flail of the Ages and The Fortress Shield - Stands side by side with Keldorn. Maxed out AC so far with Plate of Balduran, 18 Dex, Fortress Shield, Cloak of the Sewers, Helm of Balduran, Ring of Protection, Ring of Earth Control, Girdle of Piercing, Sensate Amulet(Perm Prot from Evil..), Boots of Grounding.

    Keldorn - Hallowed Redeemer or Lilacor if needed for the +3. Girdle of Hill Giant Strength. Battle leader.

    Isra - Currently wielding Daystar or Azuredge. Will wield the Warblade when not fighting Undead. Using her as a specialist, hoarding all weapons with bonuses vs. monster types.

    Aerie - Staff Mace and Shield or Sling of Seeking. Combat diabler and healer.

    Nalia - My thief until I rescue Immy - Currently using the Tuigan Bow and the Sword of Arbane. Archer and bombardier.

    I will add Valygar for his quest then Rasaad will be added.
