[IMG] Hi everyone, having spent the last year hopelessly addicted to civ 3 i felt it was time to ger back to my roots and start a new campagne of Icewind Dale.
I have a two person party and had a couple of questions regarding my choices:
Elf fighter/thief (OK not the most original choice)
Gnome thief/cleric (first time using this multi class)
Question - What allowed weopons are there that allow my thief/cleric to back stab. IIRC from balders gate a thief can back stab with a club or a staff. Is this still the same in IWD?
Question - i'm probably being a real idiot but i cant seem to toggle between backstab mode and the other one (sneak attack?). The info file says i can access this through the options page but i don't see it.
I only ask because if my thief/cleric can't back stab then maybe she can use the crippling strike to some advantage.
    Cheers.

You can switch between backstab and sneak atttack in the external configuration.
IWD uses the same backstab weapon rules as BG.

I really like the cleric/thief as a character.

For a two character party the fighter/mage/thief is a very good option. Sometimes a little arcane magic can really help.

I found a two character party to be a pain -- so I added a dwarven fighter to the mix. This is an amazing character with rapid level ups.

    I loved going through IWD with a Fighter/Mage/Thief and a Cleric/Ranger. Super cool! :D
