    I Read this book and found it quite good. The book is by David Webber and Has anyone else read it yet. If you find it it is worth picking up.

    This is the second book in the series. The first one is "Oath of Swords". I stongly recommend that you read this one as then much of the referances in the "The War Gods Own" make much more sense. You'll then know what the "Ballad of the Bloody Hand" refers to and why its writer can't be a Bard.

    Aye. I thought that it was not the first book of the serries but reading them in order is not required in my opinion. Thanks for the name of the first book, I wonder if there is a third I will look when I get the chance.
