I always pick subvocal feat reflexily at the idea of it being useful but is it truely useful? do we actually get silenced in the game

I recall drow in Underdark tend to cast Silence.

IIRC, some of the Goblin Shamans in the early parts of the game do it, and even some of the Orog Priests in the Severed Hand. IMHO it can still be a worthwhile feat to take unless something stands out as more urgent for you to take.

I don't currently have a clean install of the game, but from a quick search, silence is used by goblin shamans and snow troll shamans, as well as some traps in the ice maze. There is also power word: silence, which is used by fallen bladesingers and maybe Phaen.

    hhhmmm

next time i'll skip the feat during normal mode and then if silence becomes a problem i'll just learn it during heart of fury level ups

I normally just pick it at character creation and don't really think that much about it after that

bit unrelated but how many enemies are "good creatures"

Evil: +2d6 damage against good creatures
massive halberd of hate has it but you only find it in chapter 6, seems questionable on how effective that power is

the good reputation of the weapon seems mostly based on 2d8 being better than halberds more typical 1d10 roll

A quick search shows about 100 different NPCs with the Good alignment on my end, but even if you're playing an evil run, it's unlikely you'll be killing many of them (if any). It's not the type of campaign where a weapon like that would be very useful, though it might be very effective in the hands of the enemies.

I've been thinking to use it because my parties are always goody-goody types so I want to run a full evil team for a change

Yeah, but like I said, even if you're playing evil, you likely won't end up killing a lot of good-aligned enemies unless you're playing Chaotic Stupid. It's not a bad weapon, but in terms of efficiency, you probably have better choices.
