[IMG] Ok, I've been wandering around the Rubikon Maze for so long that it made me not want to play the game again until I get some serious help. Here's my question. I beat the Maze on Easy, and I got Nordom on Hard. I know that I have to find and kill the Rubikon Wizard, but I have no clue where to find the old guy. Can someone help me, please?

Draw out a map on paper as you explore the Maze. The Hard maze is 8x8. It randomizes again if you reset it.

That's it? There's no super-cool way of circumventing the entire thing and ending up right at the wizard's feet? *grumbles and kicks Torment*

It's not really necessary to kill the wizard... If it's too frustrating for you just leave the maze. It's just a nice sidequest and you get some treasure for killing him, but nothing that'd have any effect on the plot.

There are upgrades you can't get from Nordom if you don't talk to the Wizard.

Let me add: upgrades that will make you to take Nordom as a party member instead of lousy mercykiller.

Guess I should have said UNLESS you keep Nordom in your party. :D

When the full idea of Rubikon finally sunk in, I laughed out loud. A simulated dungeon with artificial monsters and false items.

"In the name of the Evil Wizard!"

    "What Evil Wizard?"

"Uhh... the one that doesn't appear until you set the maze to Hard."

    Outrageous!

[IMG] LOL. You know I always forget to go back in that maze after getting Nordom. Hopefully the game'll be back with me soon though and I can see what all these upgrades are :) .
