Had an odd dream last night. Think it stems from the affect I want to achieve I'm not sure if it will work.

Only one way to find out!

I want all my beasts to have a dark, almost ethereal cast to them - I want them look shadowy and arcane.

I want my scaled creatures to look scaley greeny though, so I want to try a little something.

Sometimes when you drybrush a certain way paint will only hit one side of the embossed edges (the scales) so I want the whole creature to be done in a blacky-green, a lighter green shaded onto the body in one direction - an aubergine purple shaded the other direction as a contrast and shadow, Army colours are a purple tinted blue and gold.

It's one of my ideas that 'should' work and seeing it in my mind looks great. But whether or not I can pull it off is another matter :(

Kinda like my Cobweb dragon idea. I want to try that one day too.
