    Still, Durkon's explanation was a little huh? to me. Then again, in a world where all it takes is a mid-level cleric and a diamond (and one of his other best friends is a thief, and a darn talented one at that), death is not always as absolute.

    Roy's death was definitely a shocker!! I was a little sad that his sword didn't fall into him to remove all doubt. Roy will be back - he's the glue that keeps the Stick together. The real questions are:

    How long will he be dead? Who will he meet with before he's raised?

    His death came across to me as funny rather than sad. Maybe it's because I'm not getting emotionally attached to the whole comic strip. But meh... he'll be back, in one form or another. I'm sure we haven't seen the last of him.

    Ah, #445 with a prime example of Bardic Song-Fascinate (with major 'circumstance bonus' fudge to increase the usual # of affected - maybe a meta-feat of 'Mass Fascinate'? ;) )

    I think Mr. Burlew is taking more time and effort with the strips right now, in any case, they're getting good - the reworked lyrics scan very nicely to the original...

    I absolutely love this strip. It cheers me up. As for Roy, he'll be back pretty quick (although based on today's comic, the Monster in the Dark might delay our fearless leader's return!)

    Nope, no animated corpse. That's why I love this comic - it does a good job of not going in the direction you expect it to.

    On a related topic, I do believe we have seen the Monster in the Dark angry for the first time, though very briefly.

    I can't believe I haven't seen this until now. So now I have to go through almost 500 episodes to catch up. :grr:

    Of course, not that it'll be boring. These things are great! I stopped (for now) at #34, when I got to the punchline and couldn't stop laughing:

    Splunge, if you like it already, then trust me, it won't be a waste of time going through it.

    I found out about it when it was already near 200, but enjoyed going through it immensely. I've been toying with the idea of getting the books (especially the non-online ones), but I kinda like the fact not much is known about how the Order and Xykon's people got together.
