    [​IMG] This is a Forum Adventure. Here are the rules.

    1) Only the topic starter may post descritptions and consequences, unless anyone else is chosen to take lead. Anyone posts a desription/consequence will be ignored fro that post onward.

    2) You can ask questions to find clues, but nothing obscene like 'did he have a tv in his room?'

    3) Each adventure has a goal you have to figure out, when one adventure is finished then another one can be started. If people have ideas you can PM me or E-MAIL me - do not post on this topic

    4) If anyone wants there own adventure e-mail me and it can be arranged.

    5) There are options posted at the bottom - they are not instructions they are just ideas, you do not have to follow them - you can make your own up :D

    Finally - these are meant to be fun, not torture ;) there is an element of mystery to each one and now you will be told the scenario. Good luck, have a laugh :cool:

    The Adventurer:
    Rubyne DeLyn
    is a thief known as the Bronze Ferret, she is rather shy, she is also very quiet and agile.

    This is the place:
    Rubyne is down a dark ally - it is L-shaped and comes of a main street. turning behind a building she wants to get into, she can't go back to the main street because a gaurd is there with a very fierce dog. she is stood facing the building, behind her is a wall with barbed wire at the top, it is also too high to climb. the building is made of red brick and are easy enough to climb, on the roof there is a chimney with smoke coming out so the only way in would to be through a window or a door. the bricks are crumbling slightly apart from an area near the roof where they are smoother and look new.

    What will you do?

    Climb up the wall to the smooth bricks
    attempt to climb the wall behind you
    look around on the ground
    Call the gaurd

    [​IMG] Rubyne decides to find out more about the guard situation. She thinks she might get away with appearing as a hurt woman or a woman who needs help, luring the guard into the alley.

    [​IMG] Rubyne sneaks round towards thwe gaurd, the dog pricks it ears and snarls but th gaurd kicks it to silence it, the gaurd looks round the alley but doesn't spot Rubyne. Rubyne however recognises the gaurd from the local pub - she had spiked his drink then robbed him blind, there is no way he'd fall for her tricks, Rubyne is suddenly aware of a rat scarpering around the floor, Rubyne hates rats. Unfortunatly the dog thinks this is a time to play with the rodent and pulls the gaurd over. Rubyne better move fast while the Gaurd tries to gain control of the Over excited hound.

    Edit - forgot Idea options ;)
    Sneak past the gaurd
    kick the gaurd
    go back down the alley

    [​IMG] Rubyne, acting in the heat of the moment, turns tail and runs back down the alley. Sprinting on silent toes, she reaches the back wall of the narrow street, and glances around in search of a place to hide.

    [​IMG] Looking around she notices a box, it was damp, and moving slightly. Gingerly Rubyne opens the box, a load chorus of squeaking fills the air as she disturbs yet more rats they scamper out and move as one body along the alley round the corner - Rubyne hears the gaurd swear and the dog yelp, she also hears him call fo assistance, there is nothing else around here apart from a small rat-bone, which she picks up, and the box is too rotten to be used as aything. The area is the same as before.

    Idea actions
    Climb the wall up to the area of smooth bricks
    attempt to climb the large wall
    erm... you decide ;)

    She attemts to climb the area of smoth briks to find that they are too slippery! she then starts the long way up the wall and as she reaches the top she sees.....(I think thats how I should have done it)

    lol!!! Here's what i should have said:"She starts to climb the wall and she eventually reaches the area of smooth bricks. As she examins them she sees that they are slippery and devious and hold nothing within or behind them, so she desides to (continue) climb up the big wall. As she reaches the top her eyes see..."

    Thats where you where supposed to take i from(from the ..... part)

    Rule 1 Paddy ;) - I'll give you a chance though ;)

    The wall is too large for Rubyne to climb, she attamps to but doesn't get far, the rough stones make a tear in her clothes and hurt her hands, she hastily clambers down.

    Rubyne can hear the the gaurds from the street - he seems to be talking to another man, she'd better move before she gets caught.

    Rubyne has:
    A slender rat bone
    and a couple of cuts from the wall - not that she has inem in her inventory though :D

    wait to see if the gaurds come

    Rubyne scratches at her cuts and abraisions, but that's not like it'll help her out too much. She glances again at the wall and decides that she's not going to risk further injury. She decides to hide and see if the guards will come. She can risk a bruise or two when there's actually danger. Meanwhile, she fiddles around with the rat bone while she waits to see if the guards will come.

    [​IMG] Rubyne waits anxiously before there is a silence from the street, she baks into a corner and hides in the shadows, she hears footsteps coming down the ally - she'll have to move, FAST! There is no way she would be able to take on the gaurds, all she has is a small, rusty dagger as a weapon.

    Rubyne decides to climb/scale the wall as the best means of avoidence despite her injuries. She can't risk being injured further or even killed in a melee battle. It may also give her an idea of who is walking her way...

    [​IMG] May I presume it is the wall of the building?

    Rubyne climbs the wall until she reaches the new, smooth bricks, she can hear the footsteps below and her heart is racing, she looks at the smooth bricks and notices a notch above one and realises it is some sort of catch or lever, she runs her finger along but she'd need something smaller to get to it properly

    [​IMG] Despite what her mother told her about playing with her food, Rubyne gets out her handy dandy multi-purpose rat bone (TM) and sees if that will do the trick.

    Success!

    a square of the wall comes loose and Rubyne notices it is on hinges, she folds the wall down, carefully keeping her balance on the wall, it reveals a small window she could easily crawl through. Rubyne hears voices below and looking down two gaurds are there, one of them is smoking while the other is looking around, she better go through before she gets caught.

    After crawling through she finds herself in a small cupboard like room, there is one door that is slightly open. You know for a fact no-one is in the room. Rubyne looks at her rat-bone - it now has several notches though is still strong and may be useful later

    She thinks she hears the guards coming, takes her rusty old dagger, and flings it out the window way up the street, it falls and makes a loud metallic sound.

    Rubyne searches the cupboards for anything decent, although she decides if all she finds is pots and pans, she'll leave. However, a good kitchen knife would be much better than an old, rusty dagger, and she supposes she could sell any expensive silverware.
