[IMG] Our local channel advertised for about a month this movie that 'is so good' and as it was made for television that would be shown in 2 parts, so last monday we saw the first part and last night the second one. Of course, being something 'new' for us (the newest thing we saw was the first season of Lost, and I'm talking about the state's channel) did caught our attention, but for our surprise, the 'end' of the 'movie' left us not knowing the real end; so the saw the pregnant woman leaving to the hospital and some trees 'bowing' at her as she passes them. So that's all? No signs of being continued at least for the channel, we just saw another advertise just before the end of the 4.400: "If you liked The 4.400, this one will like you even more: Revelations, with Bill Pullman, another big production that will be shown in 2 parts, next monday, bla bla..."
I hope this one, that looks good too, won't have a 'non finished business end' like 4.400.
Does anybody watched them? At least the 4.400, does it end just like that? With no explanation at all?

Oh man, you're getting gypped. That's a shame. The 4,400 is actually a series. Funny they're billing it as a movie, but I guess I can see why. Each episode is an hour, so crammed together I guess they could call it that. They're well into season 2 now (in fact, I think they just had the season finale recently). I think what you've seen is what amounts to the first 2-3 episodes. They played the whole first season as a marathon a few months ago, so, bored on laundry day, I watched the whole thing. VERY interesting and inventive story. The plots get a little bit weaker as time goes on, but not too shabby.

It's definitely a series. I must say it's not like anything I've ever seen before, a little like X-Men meets X-Files. And yep, I'm hooked. :D

    @ Sydax

Well we only just finished Season 2 in New Zealand (last night actually), and they are shooting Season 3 right now. I'm pretty sure Season 2 is out on DVD. Awesome show.
