    I'm using the vampyre template on my fighter/thief and was wondering what I could do to help her travel from place to place because everytime I step outside in the sunlight she starts taking damage. Or do I just have to avoid sunlight all the time?

    Yup, you just need to travel around at night.

    Its obscenely powerful anyway. Unbalancing even.

    Heh, i wonder how are you gonna travel to far away places like Windspear Hills, Umar Hills,... where it takes a day or more of travel. It should take double time since you shouldnt be able to travel all the time. But i'm sure this isnt in the game :)

    Its a special propery of a character that can be inborn or gained later on. You cannot put it under a class, because it really isnt a class feature. It can be racial stuff (half-dragon,...) or any kind of abilities/immunities possessed by some creatures/society/... Like undead (vampire, lich,...) immunities to poison, criticals and other stuff + innate abilities of theirs (BGII vampire template gets unlimited use per day summon monster III and dire charm iirc).
    Chosen of Mystra is another template, if you're familiar with it. Granted by a god it is.

    [​IMG] Template is fun for 10 minutes or so. I went into the sewers and kicked that annoying party of 6 by myself with ease. Kept summoning monsters and Dominating the enemy. After the ten minutes I felt why bother its like an adult playing chess against a normal 8 yr old, you have to have no skill not to win
