[IMG] I plan to create the following party:

    1 bard/rogue
1 sorcerer or wiz (haven't decided yet)
    1 druid
    1 cleric
    1 monk

As you can see, the frontliners of this party would be the cleric and the monk. So I would like to hear suggestions for a monk build that would be able to handle the tank responsibilities. I've read a bit about tripping opponents, or having an "untouchable" monk, but 3.5 is still unfamiliar to me. So I'd appreciate the input.

    Thanks :)

Drow elf for magic resistance. Max Wis, and Dex for obvious AC benefits. Give some to STR for damage benefit, assuming bard is talker, you don't need skill points, lower INT and CHR. Use a good two handed weapon early in the game until your damage modifiers make hand-to-hand more useful. Switch around 5th level. Go for tumble and move silently in skills and use him/her to scout ahead of group with little fear of getting jumped!

Any ideas on what feats to get and in what order?

My first party in TOEE, I had a Female Half-orc Monk. Rolled, I'm not kidding, a 1 CHA. 3 - 2 (for race). She had to wear a helmet all the tiime. the rest or her stats were something like 14 Str, 17 Dex, 12 Con, 11 Int, and 17 Wis. She was pretty fun.
