You might want to take a peek at the walkthrough that JohnnyRTFM wrote. It is up on the NWN page.

[IMG] EDIT: :hmm: The problem remains: I get the report "The shop has been searched very recently. Deekin is nowhere in sight"

    :hmm: What now? :hmm:

Sorry, thought I mentioned it in the walkthrough. I'll have to update that.

The clue in the game is as follows: If you head to Blumberg after killing only Tymo, you will notice a bunch of gnolls still in the town. One of the gnolls is actually pounding on the door to Deekin's Shop saying something to the effect of "Come out you cowardly kobold!" Since J'Nah has command over these gnolls, you must take care of her first. After doing so, Deekin will come find you, most likely as soon as you exit the gnoll caves.

When I played that segment, Deekin was in "his shop" each of several times that I checked on him after agreeing to see what I could do to get him free of the dragon. The Gnolls were only in the town on the first of the times that I was there and the houses never stopped burning, nor did they ever burn down to nothing. The villagers I released from the Gnolls never got back to town, either.

When I gave him his doll after getting that from the dragon, he handed me the statue, said thank you, and walked through the nearest wall as he disappeared.

He turned up again at the start of the Interlude, in the desert where the Stingers were.

    :D

[IMG] I saw the gnolls knocking at Deekin's door, that was how I found him first.

I'm truly embarassed. I played hasty, for stress relief. I can only explain that by me beeing distracted by unimportant rel-life eventes like exam tests. I have overlooked the items J'Nar had on her *corpse*, looting her staff only (what a stupid idea to seperate weapon and personal items in two stacks). Therfor I simply didn't have all the items at hand, so the game didn't allow me to meed Deekin. Ah well. Mystery solved.
